Product alert: Nike’s talking trash

And now, so can you.
Nike and Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash just released the first basketball shoe made of…well, trash.
The Trash Talk shoe includes pieced-together scraps of leather and synthetic leather waste from the factory floor and a sole made of special materials including ground-up rubber from a shoe-recycling program. The shoes are packaged in a fully-recycled cardboard box.
Sounds like availability is pretty limited at this point…you can snag a pair at the House of Hoops in NYC in April.
