We like kudos…especially the green ones

GreenNot to toot our own horn, but we are very proud to have recently been recognized by Great Lakes Recycling for our recycling efforts. GLR awarded us the 2007 Responsible Recycling Award which is given to select Michigan businesses that have successful recycling programs and initiatives.

Keep up the good work and remember to continue recycling. Every person makes a difference when it comes to our environment.

We asked nicely to please recycle and look what happened

PrairieWhoever said small steps won’t get you anywhere clearly hasn’t spent a year recycling. It’s easy to think that putting an individual bottle or piece of paper in the recycling bin doesn’t matter, but when you stretch it across multiple buildings and more than 1,200 employees, it adds up pretty quick. Michelin helps clean up Detroit

GreenOur clients work hard, but they play hard too — especially when it comes to helping communities in need. In September 2007, more than 100 volunteers from Michelin and Men’s Health magazine gathered to get a Detroit park back in shape with an afternoon cleanup session. The teams partnered with Recycle Detroit to breath some much needed life into Cass Park, located near Ledyard Street in downtown Detroit. Read more…
